DIY Large and Featherlight

6,50 incl. btw

The scarf is knitted in total with 2 strands helt together and from one side to the other.
The base is a garter stitch alternated with a simple lace pattern, with only the mohair changing color (1 merino and 1 kid mohair, so you have 2 combinations).
size after blocking: ± 55 cm height x width 350 cm

in the original version there is 1 skein of Manos del Uruguay Marina in the color Petrol (800 m), 2 balls of Rowan Kid Silk Haze in 671 (420 m) and Peacock and 2 balls of Onion Silk-kid Mohair(480 m, you have left over).

Supplies:

– 800 m single ply yarn in a lace weight
– 420 m Lace mohair yarn for color 1 (matching color)
– 420 m Lace mohair yarn for color 2 (contrast color)
– needles 4 or 4.5 mm (US 7), straight or a circular needle of 80 cm, see note under gauge sample
– darning needle and 1 stitch marker

The model can also be knitted only in a fingering yarn, see the last photo.
You then need 400 meters of each color. Then knit the pattern on needles 3.5 mm.
The Fingering example is knitted in The Colored Cat Oriental Sparkle – Finding Nemo and The Colored Cat Purr-fect Single – Ink Puddle
