Manos del Uruguay is an official WFTO certified fair trade yarn brand.
The Manos cooperative was founded in 1968 with the aim of creating employment for women in remote areas.
We are now 40 years later and a lot has changed, but many local women still work and ensure that everyone is paid a fair wage.

We have a number of yarns from Manos del Uruguay in the range.

On the left you can search by weight, composition and needle size. Please note that some yarns can be used on various needles, the weight per meter is more important than the needle thickness. Depending on how the knit should look like (openwork, / transparent or closed), you choose the needle.
