DIY Light Me Up Scarf (Dutch only)

Not a ‘Beam me up scotty’, but a ‘light me up’ scarf.
By knitting the thin contrasting color thread it seems as if the scarf gives light. If you do not like neon yellow, you can of course use any other contrast color that you like.

Supplies:
– yarn: 150 meters of super chunky yarn such as Malabrigo Rasta (unfortunately the original yarn no longer exists)
– equal number of meters in a sock thickness or fingering yarn in a contrasting color
– knitting needles 15 mm
– darning / wool needle
