Fonty, “Rougnat’s spinning mill” is one of the last factories in France to spin and dye wool. Born in 1880 in Rougnat, a small village situated on the hills of the Creuse,
Fonty produces high-quality natural yarns from animal fur and vegetable fibers: merino, alpaca, yak, camel, mohair, angora, silk, cashmere, linen, cotton, bamboo. The raw materials are carefully traced and selected. The animal fur comes from local or regional breeders from France, Europe, Central Asia or one of the traditional wool countries of the Southern Hemisphere. The colors are obtained through environmentally friendly processes.
