DIY fine lace defenition scarf

7,00 incl. btw

This scarf in a ‘lace’ weight yarn is a variation of the previously released ‘Lace definition scarf’ which is knitted in a fingering weight. Because of the lace thread, I designed a completely new part for the middle area to keep a nice size.

The scarf is knitted with 1 skein Madelinetosh Prairie in the color Undergrowth.

Alternative yarns are: The Coloured Cat – Abysinian Lace, The Coloured Cat – Maine Coon Lace, Malabrigo – Silkpaca, Malabrigo Lace or Manos del Uruguay – Marina.

The shawl is for the more experienced knitter, because there are many rows of ‘true lace’ (lace pattern back and forth).

Dimensions after blocking ± 180 x 40 cm

Supplies:

  • 750 meter lace yarn

  • knitting needles 3.5 mm

  • stitch markers are helpful

The pattern is also available trough Ravelry click here.
