On April 2nd a new ‘Knit Along’ (‘knit along’) or KAL by Malabrigo will start again.

The KAL lasts a month and every week you have the chance to win a nice prize. At the end, Malabrigo will also raffle off a large prize. If you have participated in a Malabrigo KAL before and you have joined the facebook group , you may have already seen the announcement. If you are on Instagram, click here. The pattern that will be knitted is called ‘Alpine Shawl’ by the designer Jill Tamminen from @KnitSisu, (you may remember the Friendship shawl from last year). There are 2 yarns used. The first one is the Malabrigo Arroyo and a new yarn the Prairie van Blue Sky Fibres is needed. To be eligible for the prizes, the scarf must be knitted with Malabrigo Arroyo and Blue Sky Fibers Praire.

There are so many colors in the Arroyo and the Prairie d that I understand that it can sometimes be difficult to make a choice, so I made some combination photos that will hopefully help you choose. theThe numbers next to the photo correspond to the list of color names that you can download HERE.
