Aimée Gille was born and raised in Kansas, the United States, and later moved to France, where her passion for knitting was rekindled. In Paris, where she now lives with her family, she first opened L’OisiveThé, a beautiful knitting café, and later La Bien Aimée, a yarn company whose beautiful hand-dyed yarns are sold worldwide.

With Worsted, Aimée wanted to create a tangible way to connect with people through knitting and bringing joy. During the challenges of the past 18 months, Aimée found solace in creating a new yarn base, Corrie Worsted, and all of the designs in the book are inspired by that from worsted weight yarn.
