DIY BABY CARDIGAN

Baby on the way or just born?
You can knit this cardigan with sleeves in a weekend, nice as a maternity gift or for your own little one.

Supplies:
– yarn: Malabrigo Super chunky, 100% super soft merino
Alternative yarn: Fonty Pole

– 3-6 months >1 skein, NOTE
you really use everything! The stitch ratio is therefore important.
6-12 months >2 strands (left over)
– knitting needles 6.5 and 8 mm
The body can be knitted on straight needles
but you knit the sleeves
double pointed needles of 8 mm (or
a circular needle size 8 mm).
– 4 stitch markers
– 2 stitch holders or leftover yarn
– darning / wool needle
– plastic ring of 18 mm to make a button
or a button of 19 mm

Alternative yarn: Fonty Pole, choose 3 balls for the smallest size and 4 for the larger size because you have to weave in ends. click here for Fonty
