Taking a short break, but which knitting project will I take…

Another week at half power (only the showroom is closed and the last shipping day is Thursday June 23) and then a week away for real… Of course you can order on the website, but your order will not be shipped until July 4th.

So much for the practical stuff.

But now looking for a pattern to take with me, I want to have at least 2 projects with me, if only the possibility to alternate…. That will be a night of Ravelry.

Anyone who knows me knows that I like long cardigans and of course I am knitting another one, which will of course be included as project 1. It’s a lovely (basic) pattern from PetiteKNit de ‘No frills Cardigan’I’ve already made 2, 1 completely original and a second quite different, also on a larger needle.

Below the first, I knitted this with Rowan Moordale , a little longer than the original, I used 7 skeins of color 06 bronzed (size XL) on needles 4 mm.

The second, oops I only have a starting picture of it 🙄 (I’ll have to make a better one ) I made from Madelinetosh Tosh sportin Thunderstorm, knitted together with a ply of Rowan Kid Silk Haze in the color 632 huricane. I knitted this on needles 5, but in the XL size. So this turned out to be a really oversized cardigan, I didn’t make any pockets and I adjusted the sleeves by adding a cuff of 25 cm, which gives it puffed sleeves (ok photo is really necessary).😅 At least you can see the colour (and part of our cat Ouzi).

The one I’m knitting now is knitted at 4.5 mm and is a combination of The Coloured Cat Maine Coon DKin the color Tree Bark with a ply The Coloured Cat Persian Fluf in the color Salty Caramel. This one is more like the basic model. You can see the color below and our cat Ouzi mixes very nicely with it. 😉

And now on to Ravelry… picking out a project…. Or do I have a WIP laying around…😇
