All the crafts come together in this Spring 2021 collection, to celebrate that patchwork, embroidery and sewing are an important part of knitting and crochet, as well as an art in itself.

According to Pompom Quarterly: “Our quilt-inspired collection honors the ingenuity, utility, community and design elements traditionally associated with craft! Met brei- en haakpatronen die improvisatie omarmen, vind je een project voor je dierbare ministrengen en bootst je het comfort na van een geliefde quilt!”

With designs by: AMALIA SIEBER // KINDRED RED // AINUR BERKIMBAYEVA // CHANTAL LAPLANTE // GINA FAMA RÃ – CKENWAGNER // INYOUNG KIM // JULIE ROBINSON // MARIA MATVEEVA // WENCKE PERTERMANN

In addition to 9 unique designs, Issue 36 includes an interview between Sara Trail of the Social Justice Sewing Academy and Emi Ito, in which they talk about Sara’s moving intergenerational commemorative quilting project, and an article by Sofia Aatkar on crafting and identity expression. It’s no secret that the Pom team loves the shades of pink and yellow, so when Gina Fama Röckenwager suggested her Battenberg recipe for inclusion in No. 36, they jumped on the idea!

the purchase of the magazine also gives access to a digital copy of Issue 36 that can be accessed from March 1, 2021, using a Ravelry download code (printed on the inside cover of the magazine).
